No. 20 Mizzou hangs on to beat Vanderbilt in front of sold-out crowd
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
No. 20 Mizzou men's basketball won a tight game against Vanderbilt Saturday afternoon 85-82 at Mizzou Arena in front of a sold out crowd.

The Tigers were down early, but D'Moi Hodge had 14 first-half points to tie things up at the half 34-34. The biggest challenge for MU in the first half came on the boards being outrebounded 25-11.
Kobe Brown also only played six minutes in the first half because of two early fouls, but he finished the day as Mizzou's leading scorer with 18 points and eight rebounds.

DeAndre Gholston also had 18 points and Hodge finished with 17 points and three steals and . Sean East II led the team in assists with seven and Noah Carter finished with 16 points and five rebounds.
Mizzou still finished the game struggling on the boards behind 45-27. The Tigers did win on the turnover side forcing 13 and only giving up six.
With the win, the Tigers advance to 13-2 on the season and 2-1 in SEC play.
