Breaking down southeastern U.S tornadoes
The past three days has spelled trouble for portions of southeastern United States. The same low pressure system that caused showers and storms Monday night has led to various severe storms that has spurred tornadoes across many states.
Portions of Southeastern Georgia, Northeastern Florida, and Eastern Carolinas' are still in a level 2/5 for severe storms throughout the end of Wednesday the 4th.
The current cold front prompting these storms on the east coast looks to push east into the ocean eventually leading to a decline in severe storms. As of Wednesday afternoon, storms capable of producing tornadoes still stand. There have been confirmed reports of tornadoes expanding from Eastern Oklahoma to southeastern Georgia in the past three days.
A combined 22 tornadoes have been reported currently over the past three days creating destruction of buildings. One instance occurred in Jonesboro, Louisiana where the National Weather Service has identified an EF-2 rated tornado. Another instance of a tornado was recorded in Jessieville Arkansas where a security camera captured a tornado passing through a school district. Thankfully only building damages occurred and there have been no reports of injuries so far.
