Tracking a warmer New Year’s Eve with Monday showers/ storms

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the lower 30s with partly cloudy skies and winds out of the southwest at 4-8 mph.

New Year's Eve: Skies look to remain partly cloudy as temperatures will begin to warm eventually topping out into the lower 50s. Conditions look to remain dry with an isolated light drizzle possible by midnight in some areas.

Extended: Sunday sees temperatures top out just below 60 degrees which bleeds into Monday. Showers and storms develop along an incoming front Monday with storms becoming more prevalent by the afternoon/ overnight hours. Heavier showers and thunder can be expected. Temperatures then cool towards seasonal averages by the second half of next week nearing the 40s.
