Tracking increasing temperatures with late week rain

Today: Temperatures look to warm into the mid-30s this afternoon with a surplus of sunshine with mostly sunny conditions. Winds remain sustained at 8-12 mph from the southwest with gust reaching up to 20 mph.

Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the 30 degree mark with mostly clear skies. Winds remain out of the southwest with gust reaching up to 24 mph.

Extended: Wednesday continues the warming trend into the lower 50s with an increase in winds up to 30 mph from the southwest. Skies remain mostly sunny. Thursday sees an increase in cloud cover as temperatures soar into the lower 60s. Afternoon spotty showers push in from the west. Friday sees off an on scattered showers, with increased chances down towards the I-44 region. Saturday sees increased chances of widespread showers as highs meander near the 50 degree mark.
