Showers and thunderstorms push in later today
SATURDAY: We'll stay mostly cloudy today with shower and thunderstorm chances increasing this afternoon and evening. Highs will top out in the low 60s, which could fuel some storms later today, with an outside chance one or two becomes strong with some gusty winds possible.
TONIGHT: Showers and thunderstorms hold on into the overnight hours as lows only fall back to near 50.
EXTENDED: It will be breezy again on Sunday, as things start to settle down toward the morning. We're tracking a parting swipe from this system for Sunday afternoon, which looks to bring a chance of some more light showers, but nothing as loud. Highs on Sunday look to top out in the low to mid 50's before the cooler air arrives Monday. Temperatures will settle into the upper 30s and low 40s to close out 2019, but some slightly warmer air looks on track for the start of the new year, with highs in the upper 40s.
