Scattered storms tonight, cooler Friday

TONIGHT: Scattered showers and thunderstorms likely. A few storms may have strong wind gusts. Lows fall into the mid-60s.

FRIDAY: Clouds clear out early, leaving us with lower humidity and cooler temperatures. Highs in the lower 80s.

EXTENDED: The cold front moving east on Friday will keep us comfortable through Friday night, with gradual warming returning by Saturday as temperatures climb back into the mid-80s. Southwest flow returns Sunday, keeping temperatures almost 10 degrees above normal each day next week. A tropical system over the Caribbean may introduce rain chances by the end of the week.
