Patriot Day recognized with wreath-laying ceremony
University of Missouri officials recognized Patriot Day and remembered the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001 with a wreath-laying ceremony Wednesday morning.

The bell in Switzler Hall rang 18 times to honor the 18th anniversary of Sept. 11.
The ceremony began on the north porch of Jesse Hall and ended on the north side of the columns on Francis Quadrangle.
