MSHP: 34 pounds of marijuana found on I-70

Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers found about 34 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 70 Monday night.

Troopers pulled the vehicle over for speeding in Cooper County at about 6:45 p.m. Monday.

After searching, they found 34 pounds of marijuana in the car, said MSHP on Twitter.

MSHP arrested Leslie N. Rivera, 28, of California on suspicion of delivery of a controlled substance. Rivera was released from custody, according to the MSHP arrest report.
