Mizzou WBB hangs on for a win over UT Martin; stays unbeaten

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The University of Tennessee-Martin kept the Mizzou women's basketball team on their toes on Thursday night. There were a total of 14 lead changes, but MU came out on top in the 60-55 win.

Shots weren't falling quite as much for the Tigers in the first half. MU shot 37 percent from the field in that opening half, but finished the game shooting 44 percent.

Senior forward Hayley Frank led the team with 15 points, along with six rebounds. However, junior guard Sara Rose-Smith was all over the court on Thursday night. She finished with a double-double, 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Both freshman Ashton Judd and senior Lauren Hansen finished with 11 points, as well.

Up next - Mizzou will catch a flight to the Bahamas to compete in the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Championship. The first game of that tournament is on Nov. 21 against Wake Forrest at 4:30 p.m.
