Tracking a dry and cool Halloween

Tonight: Light scattered drizzle will continue across much of Mid-Missouri as winds remain at 5 mph out of the north. Overnight lows cool to around 50 degrees.

Halloween: Scattered light showers will continue until about mid-morning before eventually exiting to the east by the early afternoon hours. Skies began to clear as high pressure from the west builds back in. Afternoon highs warm into the mid-60s with winds out of the northwest.

Extended: Skies remain mostly clear Halloween night with temperatures cooling into the mid-50s by the early overnight hours. Temperatures continue to increase throughout the mid-week into the lower 70s with drier conditions expected until a new low pressure system sprouts showers and possible storms beginning Friday. Scattered showers will continue throughout the weekend eventually exiting by Sunday night.
