Tracking a mild weekend with a chance at rain

TODAY: Friday brings another bright start with mostly sunny skies, but that sunshine will stick around for the entire day. Temperatures top out in the mid-60s with winds still from the east sustained around 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT: Winds remain light and easterly through the overnight, as skies stay clear overnight. Temperatures drop into the low 40s by sunrise.

EXTENDED: Clouds will start to move in from the south by early morning, taking what will likely be a bright sunrise on Saturday, to overcast skies by the afternoon. Most of the day Saturday remains dry, with a high in the mid-60s. The low pressure that approaches and brings back clouds, will also bring back showers by Saturday night. Showers will likely remain nearby in an off and on fashion from Saturday night into Sunday. A cold front will be on the heels of this low as it moves away Sunday night. We'll be dry by Monday behind the front. Showers will likely be light, and scattered in nature, so totals for the entirety of the weekend will likely amount to less than a half an inch, with a range from a trace in the northwest to maybe a half an inch in the southeast. Sunday is cooler, near 60 for a high, but temperatures are warmer, in the upper 60s, with more sun on Monday. Conditions look dry and mild for Halloween night, with temperatures in the low 60s and 50s. Temperatures climb into the 70s Tuesday through Thursday.
