Tracking a dry and seasonable rest of the week
Today: Showers and clouds have pushed well off to the east allowing for high pressure to blanket Mid-Missouri with mostly sunny skies. Winds remain out of the northwest at 5-10 mph as highs settle into the lower 60s.
Tonight: Overnight lows cool to the lower 40s as winds begin to switch back out of the east at 5 mph. Skies become partly cloudy.
Extended: Thursday sees an increase in cloud cover with highs just below or at 60 degrees. Partly cloudy skies exiting the region by Friday allowing for mostly sunny skies once again as temperatures will rebound slightly to the lower to mid-60s. Saturday and Sunday see highs remain into the lower 60s, but a few scattered showers are possible Saturday night into Sunday morning thanks to a low pressure system in Arkansas. Overall the majority of Mid-Missouri will remain dry. Chances of showers exit by Sunday afternoon leading to a dry Halloween.
