Tracking the end of rain tonight, warmer temperatures Wednesday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and breezy with showers exiting well before midnight. Lows in the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny with highs in the lower 60s.

EXTENDED: Wind gusts will get up to 30 mph through this evening, with showers exiting between 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Rain amounts have largely been between 1-2". We'll continue to see gradual clearing heading into Wednesday morning, allowing temperatures to drop to the upper 30s. We'll be about 20 degrees warmer tomorrow with highs in the low 60s. Clouds increase with a weak disturbance rolling through, keeping us right around 60 during the day, or perhaps a degree or two cooler. The rest of the week looks quiet with a few more clouds by Friday night. We'll be watching the track of low pressure to our south closely. At minimum, we'll have cloud cover on Saturday and Sunday with a sprinkle or two south of I-70. If the system tracks farther north, we'll have a better shot at seeing rain for the southern half of the area between Saturday night and Sunday. There is some uncertainty in the possibility of another low pressure system working in early next week, but for now we'll keep some clouds in the forecast. Temperatures look to warm a bit above average with highs in the upper 60s to around 70.
