Hundreds of Boone Electric Cooperative members lose power
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Nearly 900 Boone Electric Cooperative members were without power at about 4:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.
The utility said on Twitter that a utility adjacent to Boone had an equipment failure. Boone Electric had to cut some power to allow for safe repairs, the utility said. In another tweet at about 5 p.m., Boone said the repairs could take up to two hours.

The Boone Electric outage map showed the outage was centered in central Columbia. More than 3,300 members were cut off at the height of the outage.
