Weather Alert Day Tuesday: Severe storms are over, flooding a concern this week

Severe storm threat has ended

Several storm reports have come in from the National Weather Service due to the line of severe storms that moved through Mid-Missouri. The NWS will send crews out to assess whether or not this damage was caused by thunderstorm wind gusts or a tornado.

Flooding remains a concern over the next several days as 1-3″ of rain has fallen since Monday. Many river levels across Mid-Missouri are forecast to crest above major flood stage through the end of the week.
