Morgan County man arrested on child sex charges
A Morgan County man arrested last week on child sex crimes was set to be arraigned Tuesday.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office says it started a sexual assault investigation involving a juvenile Thursday after staff at the Morgan County R-I School District in Stover reported abuse. Deputies arrested Richard Kerksiek, 30, of Stover, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
Kerksiek was jailed in Morgan County on a $100,000 bond on charges including statutory sodomy. Arraignment was set for Tuesday morning, according to online court records.
