Former Mizzou football coach announces new foundation

Former Mizzou football coach Gary Pinkel announced his new foundation, GP M.A.D.E., on Wednesday night.

According to a release, the foundation’s mission statement is “Making A Difference Every-Day in the life and future of youth facing difficult challenges.”

Pinkel retired as head coach of the Tigers in 2015. He said he misses helping his players the most, and he’s excited about the opportunity to once again be involved with kids.

Pinkel spoke at a reception at Central Bank of Boone County. You can hear his full remarks below:
