Forum Boulevard roadwork continues

The Columbia Public Works Department said work will begin today to replace a private line on Forum Boulevard.

Crews are hoping that this work will fix the unknown source of water that is deteriorating the roadway.

The city said a contractor for the property owner plans to replace the affected line.

The work is weather permitting, but crews said it will take one to three business days to finish.

Columbia has been working to repair Forum Boulevard between Forum Katy Parkway and Mills Drive since the middle of March.

The city said mill and overlay will take place in the evening hours.
