Rain showers increase this afternoon, remain on and off into Wednesday morning

THIS AFTERNOON: Lots of flip flop from the weather data we’ve been getting. Scattered rain showers look like they’re making a stronger push north than first advertised. We can expect rain showers to be come more widespread across the region with I-70 and south being the bullseye region. You’ll need the umbrella for any late afternoon/evening outside plans. Spotty showers will continue on and off overnight.

TONIGHT: Temperatures dip back into the lower 50s overnight with hit and miss rain. Keep the umbrella around out the door Wednesday, some places may still see rain, especially north of I-70.

EXTENDED: The stationary boundary that has been given the weather models fits finally tracks eastward into Wednesday leaving us dry after 9am. Clouds will stick around through much of the day, perhaps a peek of sunshine by the afternoon. High temps are cool again, in the low to mid 60s. Another chance at storms is possible Saturday evening. Sunday looks like the better day of the two.
