Man accused of making threats with gun charged in Morgan County

The Morgan County Prosecutor’s Office has charged a man accused of threatening another man with a gun.

Cody D. Grogan, 32, of Stover, was arrested around 6 p.m. Monday near Stover.

Deputies said Grogan was found walking out of the woods off Lake Wood Hills Road after he drove away from a home on Ivy Bend Road.

Grogan is accused of threatening the man with the gun outside the home while two children were present.

According to court documents, Grogan admitted at the Morgan County Detention Center he hid a .22-caliber revolver in the woods following the argument with the man and Grogan’s ex-wife.

Deputies said Grogan admitted to pulling his gun after the man threatened to shoot him if he didn’t leave the home.

Grogan is charged with unlawful use of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child and tampering with physical evidence.
