United resumes flights at Columbia Regional Airport

The Columbia Regional Airport announced Sunday that United Airlines has resumed flights, according to a Facebook post:

ARRIVALS SUNDAY:

4850- 2:15PM 5437- 5:36PM 5605- 8:42PM 3846- 9:06PM

DEPARTURES SUNDAY:

3774- 3:00PM 5228- 6:20PM

A United Airlines spokesperson told ABC 17 News Saturday that services to COU would resume Tuesday.

Columbia Spokesman Steven Sapp said Sunday afternoon that they were informed of the new flight schedule Sunday morning. “Originally they indicated they planned to resume servies late Monday into Tuesday,” Sapp said in an email.

The flights are operated by Skywest, a regional carrier for United Airlines, Sapp said.

A spokesman for American Airlines said their flights will resume Tuesday.
