Frosty start to Monday, Quickly warming back up this week

TONIGHT: Clear skies and light winds will lead to widespread frost development through the overnight hours. Temperatures start off in the 30s. Give yourself a few minutes to scrape your car off tomorrow morning.

MONDAY: Ahh yes, Monday. The best day of the week! We’re tracking a cold start to the day but we’re quickly going to warm up through the afternoon hours with lots of sunshine to go around. We’ll top out in the upper 60s and low 70s areawide.

EXTENDED: We’re near 80 Tuesday and Wednesday before our next chance of showers and thunderstorms moves in. Another strong area of low pressure will move across the Midwest, cooling us down to end the week. Some of those storms could be strong Wednesday evening across western portions of the viewing area.
