Mizzou offense keeps “we can beat anyone” mentality ahead of trip to Florida
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
With Mizzou looking yet again to bounce back Saturday at Florida, the Georgia loss provided some extra confidence for the Tigers.
"We can beat anybody in the country and there's not another game on the schedule we can't win," said quarterback Brady Cook on Wednesday.
That confidence doesn't just stop with Cook, wide receiver Mookie Cooper said the Georgia game "set the bar" for what they can be.
"We're just focusing on finishing right now, finishing games, finishing everything," Cooper said. "We have high confidence and we're ready to go out and compete."
Although the offense is taking some positives away from the Georgia loss, there's still things that need to be worked on to get them back in the win column.
"We got to be better on our execution and be able to execute on third downs to get our defense bigger breaks especially in close games like we just had," said running back Cody Schrader.
Mizzou will play at Florida Saturday at 11 a.m.
