KJ Santos to transfer from Mizzou basketball

According to a team spokesperson, forward KJ Santos will transfer from the Mizzou basketball team.

Santos struggled in his only season with the Tigers and averaged 1.3 points per game. Santos appeared in just 20 games last season after missing time due to a foot injury.

Santos played just two minutes combined during the SEC tournament.

Prior to Mizzou, Santos played for Illinois-Chicago and averaged 7.1 points per game and 4.2 rebounds per game.

The Santos departure opens up another scholarship for the 2019-20 season for Cuonzo Martin and his staff.
