Two in custody after foot pursuit in west Columbia
Two suspects were taken into custody after a short foot pursuit in west Columbia early Friday morning.
Columbia police tried to pull their vehicle over around 2 a.m. Friday near the Phillips 66 on I-70 Drive SW. The suspect sped into the gas station and fled the scene on foot.
Police were able to find the suspects near Fazoli’s, about a quarter mile away from where the pursuit started.
Police said they found drugs and drug items in the car.
ABC 17 News crews on scene saw K-9s searching for the suspects and one woman put in handcuffs.
