Motorcyclist hurt in Route B crash

A motorcyclist went to the hospital Tuesday after rear-ending a car that had stopped on Route B near Hallsville for a school bus unloading children, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper at the scene said.

A trooper and the wife of the motorcyclist told an ABC 17 News crew that the man driving the three-wheeled motorcycle rear-ended the sedan in front of him. The crash happened a little after 3:30 p.m. at Route B and East Branch Street, according to online dispatching records.

The trooper said crews took the motorcyclist to the hospital. He apparently had minor injuries from the crash.

There were no other reported injuries.
