Tracking a warm few days before a big cool down late this week

TONIGHT: Mostly clear with lows in the mid-upper 40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70s to around 80.

EXTENDED:  We'll stay mild heading into this evening with lows falling down into the upper 40s. We can expect another similar day tomorrow with temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80. I am tracking a series of fronts that will bring pushes of cooler air from the north toward the end of the week as afternoon highs fall to the lower 70s on Thursday. The second front Thursday into Friday will drop us to about 40 by Friday morning and we struggle to get past 60 by the afternoon. Right now there's not looking like there will be much moisture to work with as these fronts move through, so we'll continue our rain-free pattern, but we could see widespread frost on Saturday morning as most areas dip into the lower to mid-30s. Saturday and Sunday will be cooler than average with highs in the low to mid-60s to around 70 by Sunday. We'll see a brief warm up back to about 80 early next week.
