Spectacular weather on tap to start the week

MONDAY: We’re seeing some high clouds starting out the morning, but those will eventually give way to drier air that continues to filter in by the afternoon. With plenty of sunshine, temperatures will have no problem reaching the 70s once again, with some lower dew points making for a spectacular afternoon once again.

TONIGHT: We’re going to be tracking another cold front as we head into the early morning hours on Tuesday. Temperatures will cool off into the upper 40s and low 50s along with winds picking up toward daybreak. With little moisture available and another front lacking in significant strength, we’ll stay dry.

EXTENDED: That weak front will knock temperatures back a few degrees on Tuesday, but sunshine looks to stick around as afternoon highs climb to the low 70s. A warm front will lift through the area on Wednesday, bringing breezy conditions which will nudge temperatures into the middle to upper 70s range. Clouds will be increasing throughout the day as our next storm system approaches, but we look to stay dry through the afternoon. This system will swing a cold front through the area late Wednesday night into Thursday, increasing our rain chances. It will stay breezy ahead of and behind showers and storms on Thursday. Much cooler weather moves in to close out the week, with highs struggling to get back to 50 on Friday. Check back with ABC 17 News on-air and online to get the latest forecast updates.
