After a cold front passes through Missouri Thursday night, Friday will be much colder and windy. High temperatures will struggle tor reach the low 40s. Factoring in blustery northwest winds up to 25 mph, wind chills will remain in the upper 20s to low 30s throughout the day.

As high pressure settles over Mid-Missouri Friday night, temperatures will fall into the low 20s under the clear skies. The breezy northwest winds will calm through the night, but with lights winds betwen 5 and 10 mph, wind chills will still reach the upper teens by early Saturday.

Dakota Barron, 18, of Hartsburg, has been released from jail after eluding authorities for two days. A relative of Barron accuses him of sex crimes. Court documents obtained by ABC 17 News connect Barron to an incident in August, at the Cole County Fairgrounds. The teenager has been charged with misdemeanor child molestation.
