The Southeastern Conference canceled its men's basketball tournament on Thursday morning due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. It also said all regular season sports are suspended until March 30.

The SEC commissioner held a conference Thursday afternoon going over the cancellation. You can watch a livestream from ABC 17's Tyler Murry after the news conference in the media player below.

Mizzou was scheduled to play Texas A&M on Thursday at 6 p.m. It appears MU's season is now over. The Tigers finished the year 15-16 overall and 7-11 in the SEC.

Other conferences such as the Big 10, Big 12 and Ivy League have also canceled their conference tournaments.

On Tuesday, MU basketball coach Cuonzo Martin said sports are secondary when it comes to life stuff, like COVID-19.

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey will address the situation at noon at Bridgestone Arena.
