Body of drowned man recovered at Lake of the Ozarks, troopers recover second body Sunday morning

LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol recovered the body of one man who drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Troop F said in a tweet Sunday morning a recovery of a second body was made and more information would be released at a later time.

MSHP confirmed the drowning on Twitter. Troopers were called to the 0.5-mile marker of the lake for a report of missing people last seen in the water. This happened around 2:40 Saturday afternoon.

A report on the incident has not been released at this time.
