Man drowns in Lake of the Ozarks Friday afternoon
CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A young man drowned in the Lake of the Ozarks on Friday afternoon, after leaving a residence intoxicated.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Boating incident reports, 22-year-old Jose Ramirez of Columbia walked away from a home intoxicated, then never returned.
Ramirez was later found in the water near Mile Marker 10 in an unnamed cove. He was pronounced dead on the scene around 5:30 p.m. Friday.
MSHP Troop F is investigating the incident.
