Slide-offs reported Tuesday morning as some streets remain snow covered
BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Crews continued to treat roads on Tuesday morning after an overnight freeze.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation traveler map, many Columbia roads remained covered on Tuesday morning. Roads in Jefferson City remained mostly clear with some partly covered roads.
Route E in Boone County was closed Tuesday morning after multiple cars slid off the road, according to Boone County Joint Communications.
Brown Station Road was also closed Tuesday morning at Waco Road due to a bus slide off.

According to emergency crews on scene, there were three people on the city bus at the time of the slide off. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The road was closed for more than an hour on Tuesday.
Columbia Public Works had a nine-person crew report to treat roads overnight on Monday.
Drivers were asked to continue to drive with caution for the Tuesday morning commute.
Many schools were either canceled or running on a two-hour delay on Tuesday. A full list of all school closings and delays can be found here.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop F said it responded to 118 crashes on Monday. Ten people were hurt in those crashes, according to MSHP.
