Tracking strong storms later today
MONDAY: Quiet conditions are greeting us this morning but storms look to move back in around noon near the HWY 65 corridor. Those will continue to push east into the afternoon, some of which could become strong to severe. Large hail seems to be the biggest threat but gusty winds could accompany them too. Highs will make it into the middle 60's. For the latest details head over to the Insider Blog.
TONIGHT: Those storms will stick around into this evening before calming down after midnight. Lows will fall to near 50.
EXTENDED: We may not be able to completely shake the rain chances heading into Tuesday. Any chance we have will be centered around the morning, before a dry afternoon. Highs for much of this week will be in the mid to upper 60's, a few degrees off from where we should be. Best bet at staying dry move in Wednesday, with a chance of seeing a few 70's. Thursday looks to bring the return of rain chances as a disturbance slides through. Those rain chances are a bit slow to leave, lingering into Friday. Behind this system is when we'll start to really cool down. Extended range data is suggesting lows in the 30's with highs only topping out around 60 heading into the weekend.
