Fulton police working to identify people involved in possible kidnapping

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police in Fulton said Tuesday they've followed up on more than 40 leads and tips trying to identify people involved in a possible kidnapping this week.

A witness told ABC 17 News on Monday that she saw a young woman or teenage girl being forced into a car by three men. The incident was captured on surveillance video but the license plate number on the vehicle was not clear.

The Fulton Police Department said in a Facebook post that investigators believe the woman in the incident knew the men in the car. Police say they are looking for any information they can get about the incident.

The department said Monday that three men in a dark gray Dodge Charger were seen on camera taking the woman. Police describe her as 5 feet, 3 inches tall, thin with brown hair and wearing a black shirt and white shorts. The incident happened in the 500 block of 10th Street.
