Tracking frost with a hard freeze overnight, mid-week rain

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows in the upper 20s to around 30. A hard freeze is likely, so protect any sensitive plants.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and cool with highs in the upper 50s.

EXTENDED: Lows fall into the upper 20s with a hard freeze likely area wide tonight. A Freeze Warning is in effect through mid-morning Tuesday. After that, we're in for another nice day, albeit a little cooler than average with highs in the upper 50s and sunshine. A warm front lifts in from the south on Wednesday, bringing clouds and a chance for a rain and a few rumbles of thunder, along with warmer temperatures. We'll see highs in the upper 60s to around 70, with a chance for showers lingering into Thursday as a cold front works east. We'll be a touch cooler to end the week with highs around 60 on Friday, but a nice weekend to look forward to as we reach the upper 60s Saturday and upper 70s on Sunday. Rain amounts for mid week will likely only reach 0.1-0.2".
