THIS AFTERNOON: From midday through the evening, a few spot storms are possible in eastern Missouri, but most of the area remains dry. Temperatures climb to the upper 60s, and breezy winds out of the northwest gust up to 30 mph.

TONIGHT: Skies mostly clear out overnight while temperatures cool to the mid to lower 40s.

EXTENDED: Friday is cooler with highs back in the 50s and a fair amount of clouds. The weekend then rebounds into the 60s on Saturday and 70s to 80s on Sunday. This warmup brings a chance for rain on Monday, but this looks light, with better rain potential toward midweek.
