TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and chilly with lows in the upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Decreasing clouds and cool with highs in the lower 50s.

EXTENDED: With the passage of today's cold front, it's much cooler with lows falling into the upper 30s by Monday morning. Clouds gradually decrease and we'll be chilly for much of the day with highs in the lower to mid-50s. Tuesday is warmer as winds begin to shift to the south, with gusts up to 30 mph possible. That wind shift will send temperatures into the mid-60s ahead of another storm system that could bring two rounds of strong storms between Tuesday night and Wednesday. Storms late Tuesday night will develop to our northwest and spread southeast overnight, bringing the potential of large hail and a few strong wind gusts. Another cold front directly behind these storms could stall across Mid-Missouri and serve as a trigger point for redevelopment in the afternoon as instability increases across the region, giving us a threat for all severe weather hazards between late Wednesday morning and early evening, particularly east of Highway 63 where there is already a level 3 out of 5 severe weather risk. A Weather Alert Day will be in effect from late Tuesday night through early Wednesday evening. Behind that front, we continue to see rounds of rain with some dry time in between carrying on into the first part of the weekend. Temperatures will be in the 40s at night and range from the upper 50s to low 60s during the day. Rain amounts through Friday will be around an inch.
