Tracking a clear and cold night with more clouds Monday

0:00/ 0:00LIVEQuality1  AudioSubtitleSpeedNormal

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows in the upper 30s. Gusty winds up to 25 mph.

TOMORROW: Increasing clouds through the day with lighter winds. Highs in the lower 60s.

EXTENDED: Clouds gradually clear tonight, but strong winds linger behind a cold front from the northwest, allowing temperatures to fall into the upper 30s by daybreak Monday. Clouds pick up ahead of another front on Monday, with little in the way of precipitation due to very dry air. Tuesday and Wednesday will be pleasant but breezy, with an elevated fire danger as winds pick up and humidity stays low. A few disturbances roll through the region between Thursday and Friday, bringing a chance of scattered showers and storms and warmer temperatures in the 70s. A stronger low pressure system moves in between Saturday and Sunday, bringing a better shot at more organized thunderstorms, perhaps a few that could be strong. Rain totals between Thursday and Sunday will range between 1-1.5".
