Frosty weather out the door on Monday

TONIGHT: A frost advisory has been issued for the area until 8:00am tomorrow. Sensitive plants will continue to need extra care into tomorrow morning. Temperatures fall into the mid 30s with rural locations falling to near freezing. Winds will remain out of the northwest at 5-10 mph.

MONDAY: After a chilly start, temperatures will attempt to warm into the 50s through the afternoon. Unfortunately, increasing clouds will slow any warm up. Rain shower chances will increase after 5pm, especially south of I-70. Steady rainfall can be expected south of the interstate through Tuesday morning. More sporadic showers are possible Columbia and points to the north.

EXTENDED: Chilly weather continues through Tuesday with a chance at morning showers. Temperatures are finally expected to be at and above average to close out the week. Daily rain and storm chances look to close out the week... however, no major washout-type rains are expected.
