Rain returns Thursday, chilly weather will continue

THIS AFTERNOON: A few sprinkles are possible into this evening. Partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s are expected.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies take over with overnight lows falling into the low to mid 40's.

EXTENDED: We'll wake up to sunshine tomorrow but that will quickly get replaced by rain chances in the afternoon. Showers look to push through for the remainder of the day and spill over into the early morning on Friday. We'll shake the rain chances finally into the afternoon, but it will be breezy and cool with highs near 60. A few degrees get added on Saturday as we keep the sunshine around with another system moving through Saturday night into Sunday morning. This system looks pretty light in nature. The active pattern looks to continue into the first part of next week with another system moving through.
