Tracking quiet but breezy conditions and a brief cooldown
TONIGHT: I'm tracking a round of light, mixed precipitation this evening, but it will be largely unimpactful for central Missouri. Temperatures will cool into the low 30s as winds blow out of the northwest at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking plenty of sunshine throughout the day with temperatures only warming into the low 50s by the afternoon hours. Winds will still be breezy from the northwest at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking temperatures quickly rebounding to start the week as Monday and Tuesday are expected to both be in the mid to upper 70s by the afternoon hours. Winds will still be breezy, and this combined with dry air will lead to conditions favorable for the rapid spread of fire. Luckily, rain chances Wednesday morning will help change these conditions and leave mid-MO in the upper 50s by the afternoon hours. Similar temperatures can be expected to end the week with one last chance of rain Friday-Saturday.
