TODAY: After a chilly start, temperatures climb to the low 50s in the afternoon with continued sunshine. Winds from the southeast will be light between 5 to 10 mph.

TOMORROW: Temperatures will keep climbing on Monday, likely reaching the low 60s as clouds roll in. Winds will pick up from the south, gusting up to 20 mph.

EXTENDED: Scattered showers and storms develop early Tuesday morning, becoming more widespread into the afternoon and evening. Morning storms carry a low risk of producing hail, while afternoon activity could be stronger if enough energy is available. The severe risk is low in Central Missouri at a 1/5 risk with better severe potential to the south across the Ozarks. Wednesday will be colder and very windy behind this system with wind gusts up to 40 mph. Temperatures then rebound again late week ahead of lighter rain chances around Friday.
