Tracking cooler and blustery conditions today

TODAY: Morning temperatures start out below freezing with highs back in the lower 50s. Winds out of the north will gust up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: Sunday features more clouds and warmer temperatures in the 60s ahead of an afternoon rain chance. It will take some time for rain to overcome dry air overhead, and showers may start up as late as Sunday evening.

EXTENDED: Rain coverage increases Monday morning with a few rumbles of thunder possible. Non-storm winds are notably gusty up to 40 mph at times on Monday. Rain amounts will sharply increase from under an inch in our western counties to an inch or greater to the east. Midweek dries out ahead of one more system to track before Easter weekend.
