Tracking overnight strong to severe storms lasting through Wednesday afternoon

TODAY: Tuesday afternoon welcomes some isolated chances of showers and storms, but most of the region remains dry as highs top out into the mid-60s. Winds remain stronger out of the southeast at 15-20 mph with gusts up to 32 mph possible.

TONIGHT: Showers and storms move through the region late tonight with the potential for strong winds, large hail, and isolated weaker tornadoes possible. Lows remain into the upper 50s.

EXTENDED: As the line of showers and storms pushes ahead of an incoming cold front, storms will restrengthen by mid-morning lasting through the afternoon hours as storms push east. Hail up to 2", wind sup to 70 mph, and a few tornadoes remain possible within this system that pushes out of Mid-Missouri by 5 pm. The rest of the week into the weekend welcomes more chances of rain as highs cool to the 50s and lower 60s.
