Tracking minimal rain chances along with a generous Friday warmup
TODAY: Friday is warm and breezy. After a few sprinkles to light showers before sunrise, most of the day will be sunny, warm, and breezy. A sustained wind of 15-25 mph gusting from 30-40 mph from the southwest will pump temperatures into the mid-60s. This and low relative humidity will lend to an elevated fire risk this afternoon. Burning is discouraged.
TONIGHT: A cold front with limited moisture will sweep through overnight, bringing clouds, a chance at a shower, and a cooldown. Temperatures fall to near freezing overnight.
EXTENDED: We'll be generally cool on Saturday, thanks to a north wind behind the front. Highs only reach low 50s. We'll be a bit warmer, nearing 60 on Sunday with a shift to a south wind late in the day. The weekend looks sunny. So does the first two days of next week. A warming pattern takes us into the 70s Monday through Wednesday, with a chance at storms coming by Wednesday. We'll likely stay warm, but drop into the 60s for highs late next week.
