Mizzou football finishes the season in the Top-10

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team grabbed the No. 8 spot in the final AP Poll of the 2023 college football season, on Tuesday. It marks the program's best finish in the poll since 2013.

The Tigers jumped up one spot, from No. 9, after beating then-No. 7 Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl on Dec. 29. Meanwhile, the Buckeyes dropped down to No. 10 after that loss in Arlington.

Head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company are one of four Southeastern Conference teams in the Top-10. You can find a full list of the Top-25 below.

Mizzou will now look ahead to the 2024 season. The Tigers will go through spring and fall camps and then open up the season on Saturday, Aug. 31 against Murray State.
