Mizzou finishes regular season with No. 25 ranking

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team will end regular season action with a No. 25 ranking in the AP Poll, after ending the season on a four-game winning streak.

MU's last win of the regular season came on Saturday, senior day, against Ole Miss. The Rebels took the Tigers down to the wire, but head coach Dennis Gates and company came out on top with a five point win. Mizzou also beat LSU on the road last week.

The team finished regular season action with a 23-8 overall record and 11-7 conference record.

Mizzou earned a double-bye in the SEC Tournament, so the group will come in as the No. 4-seed. MU will either play No. 5 Tennessee or the winner of the No. 13 Ole Miss, No. 12 South Carolina game on Friday in the quarterfinals.

The last time Mizzou was ranked was January 11, which was week 10 of the college hoops season.
