Mizzou completes comeback to get road win against LSU
BATON ROUGE, La. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou men's basketball team trailed the entire game until the one minute mark, but managed to come out on top at LSU 81-76.
D'Moi Hodge hit the final three of the game and finished the game with a team high 23 points and five steals followed by DeAndre Gholston with 20 points and Noah Carter with 13 points and seven rebounds.
The biggest difference between the two teams came on the defensive front. Mizzou forced 16 turnovers scoring 20 points, while LSU forced seven turnovers scoring just two points off of them.
With Hodge's five steals in the game, he has now set the Mizzou single-season record for steals with 77.
As a team, the group shot 46% from the field and just over 33% from three.
LSU gave MU a run for their money shooting arguably the best they have all year from beyond the arc with 14 threes shooting over 50%.
With the win, Mizzou is now 22-8 on the season and 10-7 in SEC play. The win also puts them tied for fifth in the SEC standings with Vanderbilt.
