Mizzou kicker Harrison Mevis named second team pre-season AP All-American

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou kicker Harrison Mevis was named a second team pre-season AP All-American Monday after coming off a big season for the Tigers.

In 2021, Mevis went 23-25 on field goal attempts including a career long 56 yarder, plus a perfect 41-41 on PATs.

The only kicker in front of Mevis on the AP list was Jake Moody from Michigan.

Mevis was named to the 2021 All-SEC first team, plus was named to the 2022 Lou Groza watchlist which includes the top 30 kickers ahead of the college football season.
